I just came back from a 5 day trip from NYC.Saw some old friends and espiecially Wtc.The emotions was very strong there.:confused: But everybody was still doing there thing there.WE the USA are very strong people.(NY'ER'S ARE TOUGH TO)WE can over come alotta of things.The skyline was very bare though from the S.I. FERRY.Thats when it hit me.I was so used to seeing them most of my life.:( I still can't believe it :mad:Right away I bowed my head and said a prayer for all who parrished.God bless them all :( ;) .......FRANK

Thanks for your post.
I've been to the Ground Zero site and yes it is a very powerful memorial. You find lots of people walking around. Some hand out papers with info on the attacks, or what the buildings were like. Maps of the former WTC. Not asking for a dime.

I went in January and it was very cold. I had been to the top of the WTC back in 1992, before the first bombing. It was exhilarating to be up there. I also grew up with them visible in the NYC skyline, now there's a big empty spot that stands for 2800 American lives lost.
It really bothers me when I hear Americans say they are sick of hearing about 9/11. More Americans died there than any single day other than Antietam. When you come to the NYC area, almost everyone knows someone who died there. I was working in NYC at the time.

I'll echo your words, God bless all who perished that day. May they rest in peace and know we will fight to avenge their deaths and ensure that the perpetrators can never attack us that way again.
