At the New York show next month, there will be seven knives up for auction to benefit the NYFD. The knives are made from steel taken from the WTC. Fisk is one of the seven; do one of you have the names of the other six?

There has already been offered 25,000 for the lot. I'm not at my home computer and will see if RogerP will post a pic for me.

Here's the pic - outstanding little knife! Are they being auctioned off only as a group?

The knives will on display at the ECCKS in March. The makers particpating in this project are. Pat Crawford, Gil Hibben,Bob Dozier, Bob Terzuola, Allen Elishewitz, Mel Pardue and myself. The Knives will be boxed in a custom Tomway display box. This is a worthwhile project and the money goes to a good cause.

I do not know about the others but on my piece I did a missing man weld. 343 firemen died in the buildings so I did a billet with 342 layers. I engraved the knife myself.

If you go by the show be sure and go by and see the knives. Thanks

Wow Jerry, that is one gorgeous pattern on that damascus. Sure is great to see these makers doing so much for such a good cause.

I love the knife making community. Thanks Jerry and all the others that partcipated. I will certainly take a good look on March 7th.

I think my buddy Calvin Cooledge is having some Tomway boxes made up for these.

You guys never cease to amaze me with your generosity. It is the folks who participate in projects such as these who make what is a hobby to me a conduit for associating with some of the finest people I have ever gotten to know.
