Hello from South Africa.
My WTC knife (number 400) has arrived. All I can say is that Spyderco has gone to a great deal of trouble to produce a knife commemorating a very sad day.
I was in two minds about ordering the knife but knowing that 100% of the money generated from the sales of these knives (2819 in total) will be donated to the New York Police and Fire Widows and Children Benefit Fund makes me feel like I have done my small part in recognising the bravey of these individuals.
The knife comes presented in a very well made hinged wooden box. Also included is a letter of authenticity signed by Sal and his wife. As un enexpected bonus I also received a complimentary Spyderco MeerKat.
I really do like the knife and look forward to the release of the commercial version which they will be calling the DAllara.
