I told my friend I was thinking about getting the ESEE 4 clip point. He said it looked like a ripoff of a Gerber lmf 2. I told him I think the RAT design was around before the lmf 2. Pluss I don't think they even look alike except that they are both knives.

hell, they look the same to me:rolleyes:

blade shapes are both rather similar. other than that and the fact that they're both knives I dont see any similarities...

I think he's jealous of your wanting an ESEE knife. Get it and show him how much better it is than an LMF-2. He'll be forced to get one himself then.

dude, like i like never noticed this before, but like this steak knife and this butter knife like look totally alike, yaknow?

oh, wait! what's that on the radio? i like this song man, turn it up!

she was living in a single room with three other individuals.
One of them was a male and the other two, well, the other two were females.
God only know what they were up to in there.
And furthermore Susan, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to learn that all four of them Habitually smoke marijuana cigarettes... reefers)

I smoke two joints in the morning.
I smoke two joints at night.
I smoke two joints in the afternoon, it makes me feel alright
I smoke two joints in time of peace, and two in time of war
I smoke two joints before I smoke two joints,
And then I smoke two more

Smoked cigarettes 'til the day she died
Toke a big spliff of some good sensimillia

"easy-e were ya ever caught slippin'? " "hell no!"

Daddy he once told me "son you be hard workin' man"
And momma she once told me "son you do the best you can"
But, then one day I met a man who came to me and said
"hard work good, and hard work fine but first take care of head"

Well...the are both sharpened pieces of steel... they do both have handles...and both come with sheaths. Yep pretty much identical huh?

I've had both, I kept the LMFII for about a month, I carried it to the woods twice and sold it. Among other things I didn't like it was also too handle heavy to suit me. I got the RC4S I have about 8 or 9 months ago and it has been an integral part of my kit since. But, everyone has their own tastes.

pretty much what I wanted to say

I see nothing wrong with the person being a Gerber fan...several of my favorite knives, historically speaking, were Gerbers. I miss my old Mark-Is, Mark-IIs, and a Guardian very much some times. I still carry a Gerber Harsey Air Ranger on a regular basis. However...to say that the ESEE4 is a rip off of the LMFII speaks volumes about what this person doesn't know about knives. Some people just aren't detail oriented.

Whatever he's smoking must be pretty good if he wants to COMPARE A GERBER WITH AN ESEE!!
On a side note, is the Gerber knife company the same Gerber company that sells baby food and diapers...?

They've both got a blade and handle.
Call a lawyer! lol

This is what I thought!!!! Someone infringed on a design!!!!!!

The truth is that a lawyer approved knife would not have a blade......and the handle would be foam with rounded edges and treated with anti-bacterial solution to protect you from evil germs....:D
