Just got my WTF Battle grade from AZTimT and tested it out as I do with all my new blades with a little chopping and throwing. I have always found BUSSE and kin knives to be great throwers because of the good ballance, but the WTF was awesome with that weight it throws like an axe and hits like a train. Thought some might like to see a video so I made a few quick ones. Enjoy....

Back in the day, I had a Tru Bal Bowie (True Balance) which came with a nice, leather sheath. That was one of the few decent throwing knives that I have ever had the pleasure of owning. If memory serves, the Tru Bal was about $75, but that was a price in by gone days.

The WTF looks like a mighty good thrower albeit too costly for such tasks...at any rate, have fun! Rotational forces are massive, so it might be possible to damage the handle if thrown in haphazardly fashion.

For a affordable thrower cold steel true flight is a great choice at 19$ on amazon. My best throwing knives are ones I made from Vaughan spring steel pry bars, takes a bit of grinding and work but they are awesome and indestructible.

I made this one and the sheath for my dad with a little knife piggybacked onto it.
