WTF! Wasp knife

So what? This is really nothing new, it's a shark gun in knife form, just in case you really wanted to get that close.

Yes, but it affords so many ill-informed dummies the opportunity to feel superior by mocking something that they don't understand.

That's why these threads usually go on and on for many pages.

dberry, you've been a member since 2007 and yet have not seen the repeated threads about this thing?

Dude, you need to visit more often.

From the site "will drop many of the world's largest land predators"

Uh huh.... Do you really want to stick that in a Bear? And so it freezes some tissue. You'd still be dead as a hammer. Just my opinion.

I can see its usefulness in killing an already subdued animal i.e a shark that has already been landed. we have killed small porbeagles and blues by hanging them with a tail rope then finishing them with a knife in the head. it is probably too pricey to be found on most charter and commercial boats other than those engaged in the shark fishery. it might be feasable for a sport fisherman who doesn't want to risk using a firearm on his/her boat and can afford it though.

seriously, wanna try to drop "an enemy" with this thing??!
unless there is something like a factual timetable of death manual from waspknife, why take any chance for an enemy to come back at you?

Even for a knifeguy, I think that's kind of sickening.. atleast that was my first reaction.

Hmmmm. They don't condone the killing of innocent creatures (perhaps the maiming and disfiguring of them, but not killing). Anybody have a good procedure for telling the innocent ones?
