I just noticed that the battle grade war train is no longer available on the Busse website. I’m so glad I have one on order, should ship soon. I wonder if this means an Infi WTF could be coming?:D

INFI would be cool.

The WTF was one of those that, as soon as I saw it, I started laughing at how crazy it is. Of course I had to order one. What an awesome, ridiculous knife :D I wonder how well it chops?

Cool photo / awesome knife!:cool::thumbsup:

I did not order one when they were first offered, but later I did get a .28" thick WTF BG and it is a beast! I have not had a chance to use it yet, but I think it will probably chop better than any other Busse I have including a SY 1311 and maybe even a BB13 CG.

Hopefully someday we will have a MOAB. :)

War Train Nano Fusion...?
Just recently I was comparing how it felt to swing some of my larger Busse knives, including a FSH .27" thick, FBM .27 & .32" thick, BB13 CG, and WTF BG .28" thick. My hands are medium size, and with the huge blade on the WTF the regular size Fusion handle seemed too small in the area where the little finger is placed, resulting in somewhat of a lack of control. I plan to wrap the small part of the handle, maybe with some athletic tape, to see if it helps.

So, would a Nano Fusion handle work on a large blade? While I cannot say for sure, I tend to think it would be too small.

I did an informal chopping test with a WTF and some other large blades a couple of years back. It chops very well. Here is the thread: https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/i-like-big-blades-and-i-cannot-lie.1450067/

There was an INFI WTF; it was super thick, super heavy, and super expensive. In my opinion, it was way too heavy for any type of practical use where you would need to swing it more than a few times.
