Hmmmm....curious:confused: I thought at first it was getting into the playoffs but that was silly of me. Water in the toybox makes more sense.:D

We had a pup stick his head in a large, round (kinda like an oatmeal box) fish food can once. Lucky for him I saw it walking around(wobbling actually) almost dead from asphyxia. Was kinda funny tho after the initial scare.

That pic is dang funny...I don't care who ya are.

Thats a Bears fan for you. LOL.

I would have expected that if geographic proximity determined fan affilitation, Kerry would most likely be an Indianapolis Colts fan.

You a Bears fan, Kerry, or is Andy being "cartographically challenged" ;)? If so, bravo!

GO BEARS!

Marilyn can't believe you went for the camera before helping the poor cow. I'm glad you did. Nobody would have believed. :D Did you have much of a rodeo?

Rob!

I can't believe I didn't videotape it! When he heard me he stood completely still. I popped it off , and he joined the others in running from the devil. Rob, congrats to you and Marilyn on your new place!

I thought that was "Photoshop" for sure :) Kind of like the Deer with the plastic halloween pumpkin stuck on his face

That calf just likes football...you can tell. it was wearing a team neutral head dress. (apparently nobody has manufactured a Big Cheese toybox...yet)

I, on the other hand, am for either Da Bears or Colts.

I know. It's weird quoting myself, but, since my ultimate football dream has come true I felt it necessary to bump this up. COLTS AND BEARS??? Whoda thunkit!

Damm cows. At first I thought it was trick photography. Looks like a limo to me.

I go to feed my cows a couple weeks ago. One cow was standing on the wrong side of the fence and the bull was out of sight. At first I thought it was off looking for something to breed across the road but I finally spotted it off by itself. One of the easier round ups I've had to do.

Isn't it fun trying to keep track of an animal with nothing but breeding on the mind?
We had some colts turned out in one pasture and some mares turned out in the one next to it. The colts were all 2 year olds or younger and breeding wasn't supposed to be an issue yet.......
Well I'm out doing some work in the yard with my dad and hear the fence creaking out back. Look up and see our old gray mare "assuming the postion" and one of the colts struggling to get over the fence and oblige her
He'd jumped the fence and cleared it with his front legs but couldn't get his ass end across and wound up hanging there helpless.
I cleared the first fencerow at a dead run (although the landing wasn't all that graceful) and ran about 200 yards to go get him. Came to the second fence and was starting to remember I'm not a runner or good at the high jump and opted to use the gate for this one.
So out came the multi tool and I cut the fence top to bottom on his left side which lowered him to the ground. Then I went around and pinned his head down with my knee and cut the fence on his right side top to bottom. About that time my dad caught up and and pulled the loose fence free from the colts legs and then I stepped back and waited for the horse to get up....hoping he didn't have a broken leg.
Well he slowly got up.......looked at me.....looked at my dad......then looked at that gray mare at the far end of the pasture and took off after he at a dead run! :D
A week later the tables were turned though. I had him on the ground a second time....only this time the vet was doing the cutting and his interest in the gray mare had come to an end.

Intense stuff Matt, sure gets the blood pumping. We had a horse fall backwards into a narrow creek recently. Cut himself pretty good on the culvert before we could haul him out. I had to ride a mile and back to get an extra rope, full bore full adrenaline. He's going to be ok but not 100%. Ray, that is a lucky round up, I agree DAMN COWS, it's always something. It's actually a hereford-angus cross. (bad light) Take it easy.

Having livestock will keep you on your toes. I just thought there was something to be said for the little guy when right after being cut out of the fence he stops long enough to give you a "thanks fellas" kind of look....and then goes right after the mare at a dead run:D
I really felt bad having him gelded. With that kind of determination he should have got at least one fling :D
