I have an Emerson CQC 7 silver tanto serrated blade marked 2001 with a green handle. It was bought prior to 9-11 if I remember correctly. It has been unused sitting at the bottom of my gear bag since.
Does it matter that it was made pre 9/11? I don't see why that would be relevant to its value. If it has wear on it, clip is beat up, no box, no papers, nothing it would be worth less.
It's kind of pointless asking unless you post actual pictures, we cannot guess the condition based on a vague description.
If one makes a lot of assumptions as for condition, and say its got a bit of wear but still very much solid and not beat you should easily be able to pull 100-130 for it. The colored g10 handles aren't too common.
Unless you're talking about a custom Emerson and by green you mean green micarta not g10. In most cases pictures really are worth a thousand words.
without seeing pics, its hard to say...box and papers affect price too...id say in the $100 range most likely...i picked up my 7 used for $75 which was a steal
