Cold Steel LAREDO Carbon V
Older model has been sitting in the box for a few years. Unused.
Note: There is a hairline crack on either side of the wood handle (see pics). My guess is that the end nut was overtightened and eventually too much pressure and maybe some natural wood shrinkage over time resulted in splitting along the grain or ply lines. Of course Cold Steel won't fix for free, but will for $25. So I am dropping the price. IF you don't mind the fracture it's nice blade, quite useable as is. Or, if you want to play with putting on a new custom handle (horn- antler?), it's a good blade to work with.
On ricasso, one side reads:

Issue: Though the knife is NIB, it looks like there is a hairline crack the length of either side of the wood handle. Looks like from natural wood shrinkage where the layers started to separate. The handle is otherwise solid and as new as is the rest of the knife.
Original Cold Steel tan leather tuck-in belt sheath with brass button.
For sale at $125.00, includes shipping (CONUS only). Will accept Postal M.O. or PayPal (add 3% PayPal service fee).
