SPYDERCO MULE TEAM----NEW IN BOX!!!!!!!
The Mule Team project was designed to give users the opportunity to try various knife steels in the same blade shape to eliminate other variables except for the steel itself. The goal was to do the as cost effectively as possible and so these knives shipped without handle scales or a sheath. A quick visit to bladeforums or the spyderco forums will show a variety of solutions that have been devised. Spyderco produced only 600 of these blades in 52100 steel. This steel is not stainless and will rust if care is not taken to keep the blade dry. 52100 is a fine grained steel used in ball bearings and so it withstands high stress loads quite well. The 600 knives sold out quickly even with a 2 per limit. Here's your chance to begin your collection with the very first model.
