**SPF**SPF**Here's the deal: I purchased this from a member with the intentions of having handle work done and having a fine H.I. Katana ready for stuff. IT'S A FIXER, not what I would consider ready to play with until the handle issue is fixed. I am finishing up paying for hospital stuff with the kiddo, paying for training for work and just don't feel like following through on getting it rehandled (I'm not that gifted - call me Tim Taylor of the fix-it world). The Sarki Shop quoted me about $80 to have it rehandled in Walnut but a more handy person could probably do it just as easily. Here was the information from before on the Katana:
"The handle on this could probably use some work. The tang has been peened to get the pommel brass to be tight against the horn, but in the process the pommel cap caged in a little. The horn also chipped in one place, and has a hairline visible crack running up it. It isn't completely cracked, nor does it appear to be all that bad, but it could definitely use some work. If you drilled a hole at the end of the crack, filled it with superglue, and sanded it down I'm sure it would be completely stable.
"The temper goes all the way to the edge, and you can see the hamon line if you hold it right. It has been patina's and has more of a satin finish now than the mirror.
"36 5/16 inches long, 25 1/2 inches cutting edge length, 5/32nds thick. 2# 3.3 oz, made by cresebt moon kami."

I NEGLECTED TO MAKE IT CLEAR THAT SALES FOR THE STATES FIRST. If there is no local buyer, then I will ship to Canada as the only non-US country.
