WTS Kershaw Spec Bump

If that is the 1596SVBL, then it is Sandvik steel, not S30V. Kershaw only made Tungsten Coated S30V for the Spec Bumps. Still a good knife though!

According to Thomas Welk, the National Sales Manager for Kershaw Knives, the S30V stamped on the blade was a mistake. It has been discussed in a couple of threads and verified by more than one Kershaw employee. The blade is Sandvik13C26, not S30V. Call 800-325-2891 and ask Jennifer to transfer you to the warranty dept. Thomas is out of the office for a couple of weeks.

Here is one of threads where Thomas confirms that there are no uncoated S30V blades for the Spec/Speed Bumps: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=420515&highlight=speed+spec+bump

Apparently it is scandvik not S30V. How about 85.00 shipped for a future collectable.;)
