I have here a hatchet that may in fact be one of a kind but I can't be sure. I know that it is custom and not a regular Mineral Mountain run. It's similar to the Paramedic Axe but is actually shorter and thicker so it's quite the power tool. It needs a new home and needs an owner who is going to use it. This hatchet is used, has been sharpened (Although it isn't very shapr right now) and does have some aging and wear. But it is struturally perfect and there are no nicks dings or chips in the edge. It has some coloration in places but I can't tell if that's just the torch marks and finishing from MMHW. Instead of Micarta handles it has wood, and instead of a kydex sheath it has old school leather. It is approximately 16.5" long from end to end and the widest portiong of the head is approximately 3.75".
Here you can see what I mean by coloration in the blade... I don't think it is rust as the blade has a swirly greenish tent to it.
And here you can see how thick the spine is. It is approximately 3/8ths thick. It is pictured next to a Busse FBMLE which has a spine of .320 and as you can see the MM is thicker.
