Greeting all,
Happy Memorial Day weekend everybody.
Well, the older I get, the less safe queens I want, so I'm gonna throw a few more out and continue the herd thinning...
As per usual, I'll let the photos do most of the talking. First 4 photos here were taken today Memorial Day weekend 2012. All knives are unused, in orginal boxes.
I will start these out as package set.
And per as per usual, I'd offer a 24 hr. non-use/no-modification/alteration inspection period.
1. First up, a Spyderco Herbst C53PS model. Combo edge. This one has the blue coloring inside the handle etching (as opposed to the flat matte version). Very nice little 'gentlemen' type folder. From what I understand, these are fairly uncommon.
2. Next, a Benchmade 750S Pinnacle, combo edge, Ti frame lock, combo edge. 1 of 1000 first production run. Very nice--trim but stout, nice drop point style blade.
3. A Kershaw Model 1410ST Starkey Ridge. Combo edge. If memory serves, this was one of the forerunners to Ti framed folders, along with the original Buck 110 Titaniums. Come with box as well the associated little 'accessories pack' with allen wrenches, spare bushing, etc. I don't think I've seen one of these on here before--at least not with the full box, kit, etc. There is a little bit of slight color variance on the blade, but that could probably just be resolved with oil.
4. Last, but not least, a Kershaw 1680ST 'Steven Seagal' model, combo edge. Actually, its very ergonomic, and I believe its genuine rayskin on the handle. One slight bevel imperfection on the edge, I believe it left the factory that way, not really an issue. It would probably be gone the first time you sharpened it. There is also a little finish wear to the pivot pin, probably from shipping/transport/etc.
I am pricing all four of these beauties to move at $425 shipped USPS priority mail w/ tracking number and insurance.
I will consider quality trades. I'd be interested in hearing about a Busse BATAC, NMSFNO, original Team Gemini. Leather sheaths included would be nice. Higher quality folders (Hinderer, Umnumzaan, Lionsteel, Emerson), decent fixed blades NWA, AA Forge, etc etc etc. A Strider GG or MT or MTL with gunner grips or perhaps a Knife Research Legion might also of interest. Some $$ might have to change hands based on what ya got.
Feel free to make reasonable offers...the worst I can do is say no thanks, but I'm !not! really looking for multiple lower value knives or generics (Spyderco, Benchmades, etc).
Any trade offer must be in excellent++/LNIB condition.
Requirement: Any traded knife mailed to me must be PROPERLY packaged. That means a proper-sized BOX, bubble wrap, and packing materials. I'm getting tired of receiving high dollar knives with what appears to be a grand total of about 15 seconds of packing effort
If you don't have anything I'm looking for in trade and/or are interested in purchasing and/or have a counter-offer, please do NOT ask me what I'll take for it--email/pm me an offer. Do your research...Low-ballers will be ignored. :thumbdn:
Please do not waste my time. If you say 'Deal,' I expect you to honor your commitment. Have your financials in order before making offers!!!!.
The usuals: USA only, must be 21 years old, USPS Money Order only. I reserve the right to withdraw at any time, reject any/all offers, with or without selling/trading, trade/sell to who I want with or without explanation, etc etc etc.
May be listed elsewhere as well.
Email or PM with any questions.
Thanks for looking.
