Wusthof 200th anniversary chefs knife steel

Anyone know what steel this knife is made from? The only info that i can find is that it is hardened to a 59HRC..

That's about all the info you will find..
I've been told that its 4440 Which is a German Steel used in a lot of their cutlery.

That's just hear say, So No, I don't really know?

I can say that whatever it is, It holds a decent edge and Wusthof is the Brand I recommend of the German blades after sharpening & using 1000's over the years...
 
^^Not sure “X50 Cr MoV 15” tells us anything more than Rhinokbives1’s “4440”; albeit, a proprietary formula, maybe it’s better, but it’s still nebulous, don’t you think?
