WV Blackjack Trailmaster Tang Thread?

I have a WV era Trailmaster with a normal nut on the threaded tang. I love the knife but hate the look of the nut. I'd like to replace it with an akorn (domed) nut to give it a more finished look. Any idea what the thread size and pitch is? It would save me a trip to the hardware store. Thanks.

You are going to have to go to the hardware store anyway to buy the nut, unless you have nuts on hand, in which case you cain just try them on for size.
