Ww2 folding knife

Hello, I picked this knife up at some old guys house, he told me it was from WW2, I doubt that it is! Made from either copper or brass and the blade is steel, it looks kind of home made, I’d appreciate it if someone could help identify it at all? It has no markings on it at all!

Looks sort of like an old Marbles safety folding fish knife, but not quite. Similar design, probably not made by Marbles though.

Looks like a homemade version of the marbles safety fish knife, and could easily have been made in the machine shop on board a ship during the war, but whoever made it didn't mark it so theres really no way to know for sure.
