I recently acquired this but I know nothing about it, It's missing the Tsuba I think, can anyone tell me the age and type of sword this is?

It's Gendaito and a Naval Officer's mounting....this was all done from an asstral projection, because you have provided absolutely no information. Did you mean to post photos before the DDOS?
