Received the Bura 161/2 WWII this morning from Yangdu, a DOTD that came without sheath, karda and chakma. Going to be sending off to Terry at the Sarki shop for a WWII style sheath, should make for a great rig. Will post pics once Terry is done.

Nice catch, what is the weight of that one, I don't think Yangdu listed a weight which is unusual. I'm guessing maybe 26 oz or so.

Looks like a fine kuk that will serve you well. Getting one without a scabbard is a good excuse (if you needed one) to get one of Terrys. Nice snag.

It's fairly light, I compared it next to my AK15 which is 23.6 oz and it seemed to be a tad lighter, Yangdu didn't say. I'll weight it when it gets back to me. I like it though, going to make it part of my permanent truck/hiking gear. Wish I had scored one of these sooner.

Its on its way home, Terry emailed me that he sent off on Friday, so I should have it by Tuesday God willing. I'll post some pics then of the end result.

Thank you for the picture

Well had a triangle box from Terry awaiting me when I got back.
Nice work, exactly what I wanted.
Thanks Terry at the Sarki shop
Here are a few pictures.
My scale puts the weight of this one at 22 oz. which is 1.6 oz lighter than the AK15.

Well I was way off with my weight guess of 26 oz:( Best of luck with it, looks like a sweet blade.
