This knife belonged to my great grandfather.

What I know is that this knife was made between 1932-1940 (CASE'S TESTED XX). I haven't been able to find any others online with a similar handle though.

Does anyone know what that material is?

Ya I agree, thinking more mother of pearl. Can you post a picture of the whole knife?

If they would do this then this would be an awesome way to go.

Case will, they might charge you, and the handle will be something more current in material.

They replaced the old yeller handle stuff with yeller delrin on a stockman that belonged to my wife's grandfather...... It was in unusable shape and is in great shape now.
