Have a look:
Original scabbard and kardas. Good condition for their age and interesting design on the kardas - horn handles.
The handle is composite - ivory and horn - and is chiruwa style (full tang).
But probably the most interesting part of this piece is that the bolster is integral to the blade - meaning it is one continuous, solid piece of steel from tip to bolster to tang. You can see where the bolster meets the blade that it is rounded. Quite rare to see one made in this fashion and in this condition.
The blade was "cleaned" by it's previous owner and has a satin finish to it...but since this is a WWII era kukri, that does not diminish it's value. It still has its original forge marks and does show its age.
There are slight gaps in the handle slabs as they have "moved" over time...but overall the handle is solid, does not rattle, and still servicable.
I've looked this one over and see no need to refurbish it, so I am offering it As-Is with the option of a Free convex sharpening job.
Price is *SOLD* shipped ConUS.
