WWII Knife Help

I recently acquired a WWII fight knife that looks identical to the Ka-Bar style. The knife has USMC inscribed on one side of the knife, however, no other markings are on the knife. Does any body have any idea of the manufacturer.

A picture would help but my guess would be camillus/ka bar

Probably Camillus, since they were the leading manufacturers of that knife. If it had been Union Cutlery, it would say KA-BAR on it.
