Hi all,

I dont know if anyone can help me but I was looking at the HI
website at the WWII 18inch and then looked at the shopping site and I noticed a difference in the two shapes. Any help appreciated.

Regards,
Brendan

Khukuris are all a little different being that they are truly hand made. Correct me if I'm wrong but the kamis have made improvments on the WWII in recent time. The newer ones that BirGorkha is noe making have a little more belly to them and a little less pointy. I beleve it make them better at chopping.

Try a search on UBDOTD/WWII and you will find a few pictures. UBDOTD stands for Uncle Bill's deal of the day!:)

I think Chris is right too - my WWII is from the "old" original shop - and mine is reasonably pointy. The WWIIs I see now are much more rounded on the point.

I haven't any problems chopping with my pointy and small bellied WWII - and it is a mean fighter too!

I like the way the "older" WWII's look. I have not used them side by side so it is hard for me to say what would be the better design. Both I'm sure are more knife than anyone would need!
