Jeez, Joe, I love the Buck web site but when are they going to finally update it to reflect the 2001 offerings?!

I was told that the update would be done in April. Hopefully we will be faster next year!

I am beginning to get that feeling too! I think they came up with a few other neat ideas that delayed the whole thing a bit.

I will take responsibility for the delay here. We increased our ad budget this year and we were not sure how much budget we needed to spend on the website. We eventually decided that our new looks, logos and categories needed to be represented well in the website but by then we were behind schedule.

There is a meeting to review progress this friday(4/20) and should have more information to share after that.

April, huh? ... Still have a couple days...

I have a firm website switchover target of June 1.

The new website will take on all our categories and pcks will get a complete overhaul. May 31 will be no change and June 1 will be completely different. It will be very cool and is incorporating new technology which makes it easier for us to update it ourselves after this.

Thanks for the continued interest. I find this whole site really refreshing...

I say this only out of respect for and in support of the Buck company: You all need to kick the behinds of whoever's doing (or "not" doing) your web site. It's not too good to be going online with the 2001 line in June. With that said, I can't wait to see the redesign! :-)

Yeah, I know... the new web page looks a lot like the old web page

Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes.
Then if he gets mad, he'll be a mile away, and barefoot!

That's like waking up Christmas morning and your parents telling you that there are no presents 'cause Santa got hit by a truck.

Oh, well. I'm sure it'll be worth the wait.

I just checked, as probably a lot of others, nothing yet.I'd bet this is causing CJ alot of premature grey hairs,if he hasnt started pulling them out.

Since this subject was first posted on 3/21 my anticipation to see the new Buck web page and the new PCKS has gradually increased until on 5/31 I was really eager for its 6/1 announced appearance.

When I checked in on 6/1 I must admit that I, too, felt disappointed. Jeff O came pretty close to describing my feelings in his post above.

The folks at Buck Knives must feel really let-down due to this missed deadline by whoever it is that they contracted with to do this project for them.

You guys need to quit whining, with the quality of service we get from Buck, waiting for that website to get updated is no big deal.

To my understanding,no one has said a bad word or had a bad thought toward Buck Knives. We all appreciate the QUALITY of not only the product ,but the people behind it.Our comments are simply personal expressions of the frustrations that the folks at Buck are feeling. So please realize we are not whining, but are concerned.
Enjoy your weekend.

On second thought, maybe they should take longer because my knife budget is getting pretty thin thanks to the current PCKS.

I'm not whining. I just can't wait to get my hands on a BG-42 192 to match my EDC 110.

I'm sure that the folks at Buck are just making sure all of the bugs are worked out so that they can continue to offer quality service.

Waiting six months!?
As I wrote earlier: With all due respect for the good people at the Buck company: They need to kick the behinds of whoever's doing (or "not" doing) their web site. It's not too good to be going online with the 2001 line more than six months after the New Year.
