X-Large Sebenza

Any chance of Chris making an extra-large Sebenza? Has he ever been asked about the possibility? Something with say a 4" blade using 3/16" stock instead of 1/8".
Would anybody else buy one? I would!
 
I would buy one in a New York minute:D In an earlier thread I had almost the same measurements for an X-large Sebbie, only I suggested 5/32" stock. A definate EDC if they ever materialized:) :D :cool:

This thread isn't getting much action so far. Who knows, if enough people express an interest in something like this, maybe it will happen. If you would buy one, let's hear form you!
 
I'd actually go for a medium sebenza first.
How about a 3.25 inch blade, and a 4 3/8 inch handle.
Right in-between the small sebenza and the large.
That would be my dream sebenza.

This is one thread I would ask for some official comment on. Anne, Chris or anyone from CRK, please can you read this and give a little input? I realise how very busy you all are, but this forum gets very little input from official channels and this is an oft asked question.

Make mine XL. But not too soon. I'm going broke. If you do though, I'll find the bread somewhere. EC :rolleyes:

Chris feels a large folder wouldn't be as sturdy.

At 4 inches, you should use a fixed blade. :)
 
If 3/16" stock is used and thicker Ti slabs, it can be extremely strong. A case in point is the AR or GB folders from Strider.
 
Sometimes you have to give the customer what he/she wants...:p !!!

I just hope this Forum is occasionally read by the good people at CR Knives?:(
