Very cool, I notice that chiruwa's tang does not look any thicker.
 
I think you need gamma rays. When my Kumar Karda gets angry, it turns into a 21" Chitlangi.
 
not show the full tang of the chiruwa as a big slab? Is this really ad xray, or just a color modified negative of an actual color pic? The "tangs" look more like light FX (shine on thhe handles, but in negative black). Are you trying to fool us, Sweet?;)

I figger that the tangs would show waay up as would the cylindrical shape of the pins holding the chiruwa together. Instead, the pins show up only on the surface????

I have a vetrinarian friend who has an x-ray, and now I'm thingking of taking some pieces over to him for a few snaps.

think you're right about this being just computer pohoto effects, rather than xray. In addition to things you pointed out, look at the blades. Unless that bottom khuk has the thinnest hollow grind I've ever seen, bevels shouldn't be that muchl ighter. Also, light spots on top one make more sense as shadows reverssed than as an xray.

Still looks cool though. :p
 
All they need to do is heat up the laha and remove the haandles to know truth of that.

Course, bare tanged Khuks with crusty laha on them aren't that comfortable for actual use. :D

That's why my only "user" right now is my 12" villager, as the 2 15" AK's are in parts. :)
 
I was messing with some pics using my computers photo thing that it came with called Corel Photo House...at 0203 hrs see what good smoke does :eek:

Hmmm....just what I was thinking. :D Then I saw the chiruwa "tang" in the pic and KNEW it couldn't be a real xray. Go to this thread tangs to see how much I don't know about tangs! :D :D
