I just picked up one of Clay's X-Treme horizontal cocealex sheaths with tek-lok for my BM-42.I must say the quality is top notch and the knife really is securely held in place,no fear of it falling out or accidently coming loose. This baby has to be intentionally removed, very quick to access into action.I'm extremely impressed with Clay's work, and would like to thank him for providing us with such a high quality product to purchase.I can finally ditch the factory nylon, which never fit the knife right anyway. If anybody hasn't seen these wonderful sheaths, check out Clay's Balisong X-treme website. The service was also wonderful and fast,I might add.I'll be picking another sheath up in the future, gotta have two of these great sheaths. Thanks,Ralph

I've been thinking about getting some of his sheaths, especially since I might get a second 42. The sheaths that the 42's come with now really make me mad and disappointed.

Yes,The Benchmade sheath's are not to great, but even if they did fit the knives correctly,I assure you, that you would still be wanting an X-Treme concealex sheath in any case.It is a thousand times better than even a good quality nylon pouch.I wish I could put into words, just how excited I'am about these, and I can't describe in words the quality. If you buy one,you will be very pleased.

Yeah, I have a neck sheath and a belt carry one and they are both really great quaility. The only thing I'd like to see is the smaller eyelet on the belt system be made into one of the larger ones and left in the same spot to accomodate angled mountings on the Tec-loc.

Thanx Ralph, I'm glad to hear you're happy with your sheath (and the service

).

This whole sheath making thing has happened so fast I was a little worried that I might have missed something along the way.

But, the feedback has been very positive, which is a good thing. So I guess I'll have to keep at it for awhile

MYKL: That small hole is there so you CAN angle the sheath. That was the only way I could do it without just leaving a hole (with no eyelet). The large eyelet would have been too close to set right.

I've been shopping around for oblong eyelets, but so far I can only find Grommets made that way......... and they're too big.

Clay, maybe I'm just not doing it right then but I can't even get the screw through the small eyelet hole. I noticed how perfectly positioned it was and figured that was what it was for but I couldn't get it to work.

Nevermind I just had to put a little ass behind it. works fine now.
