Having no experience with M390, I would take the mini-Ritter based on the blade design.
 
Have both, would buy the M390 right now, since it's not necessarily going to be available in the future. I like the Ritter blade, but the regular isn't bad, and M390 is getting rave reviews.

I agree. Get the M390 because it is a special run and won't be available for long.

It's also true that in cutting tests M390 has held an edge far longer than S30V, although for daily usage S30V will hold an edge better than VG10 or 154CM, either of which make for great EDC blades.
 
I thought I was pretty clear. Skip the Ritter and go straight to the M390. :thumbup:
