X15 vs. 154CM?

I was just browsing knife center today when I ran across the new Benchmade 551 ORG...and orange handled Griptilian in X15 steel. I'm not familiar w/ X15, BM's site indicates its a french steel used in ball bearing manufacture which displays superior corrosion resistance and acceptable edge retention.

Has anyone actually used this stuff? If so how does it stack up to the 154CM previously used in the Griptilian line?

X15 isn't replacing 154CM it's just another offering BM is coming out with. Considering they have only used X15 in their fixed blade dive type knives most people haven't had much experience with it. It should perform similar to H1.

It hasn't come out yet but I think a few websites have pre-order up right now. I'll probably pick one up to see how stacks up against my Spyderco Pacific Salt.
