Hi!

I'm looking for some info about the X42 Steel, I haven't found almost any info about it but there are some new Aitor knives with this steel. They say is the same steel Aitor always used but I'm not so sure...

Any info will very appreciated.

Edited: I almost forgot, this is exactly the name Aitor uses: x42 (inox 46 cr 13)

In the USA there is BG-42, which is one of the best blade steels.
Actually it's used for many applications other than blade steel.

Not familiar with x42...

X42Cr13 would be .42% carbon and 13% chromium. It's just high carbon 420.
