X50 Cr MoV 15 vs. 4116

Does anyone here know if X50 Cr MoV 15 is the exact same thing as 4116 steel? I've been looking online and haven't been able to find an answer. Thought I would try the blade experts on this forum. Anyone know the difference between these steels?
 
X50CrMoV15 is the DIN naming standard. Using the W-Nr naming standard, the same steel is 1.4116.

Just plain "4116" is a steel made by Thyssen-Krupp, which is either the same or very similar to the 1.4116 standard. http://zknives.com/knives/steels/de/4116.shtml. Though since is their proprietary version it may deviate from the standard.
