XHP dagger

been doing this a little here and there as i finished razors and kitchen knives.
the blade is XHP and is 6.25 long and hollow ground on a 10 inch wheel then hand sanded.
the guard is SS as is the pin the handle is stabilized redwood lace burl and there is a black liner/spacer

I would like to see more with some variances?

Like a darker handle material? (Black Wood) and maybe same type guard but a touch smaller on the width?....:rolleyes:
And maybe a more rounded handle with some mosaic pins.

that would be ultra badass if you murdered it out; bluing, ebony....
 
how about mild steel guard hot blued, damascus blade?

Lloyd - that is a terrific piece. I applaud your stepping outside of your comfort box to try something like this. The contours of the guard are exceptional.

Oh, and stop listening to Lorien about blackening everything out! :p :D
