Well I have had my Xikar 158 for about a week now and it has been a good EDC at workin the clinic wearing my scrubs. Lightweight (1.7 oz I think) so it does not drag my scrub pocket down. Nice edge for cutting open boxes and tape. Lastly with it's carbon fiber handle and champagne anodized frame it looks cool.
My only cons are 2. The Carbon fiber seems to grab an snag pieces of pocket fuzz on them. 1st Carbon fiber expierience so might be normal. Lastly there is a spot on the left side edge near the secondary point on the tanto tip where the grind line is off. Not bothering the cutting ability but just bothers me visually.
Still I like this little pocketknife and it's a shame they are dis-continuing it. I might talk to a knife maker and get some burgundy micarta scales put on to replace the carbon fiber and have him correct the grind.
