I've been wanting one of these for quite a while in spite of knowing that the handle is almost an inch thick. Neither thickness nor weight has never really been much of a consideration for me. As long as it will fit in my pocket and it's not obvious that I'm carrying something, then I'm good to go. I normally wear my shirt untucked and it covers whatever is in my front pocket.

I bought this beast of a knife from a fellow forum member recently at a great price and I am simply fascinated with it I don't know what it is, but there's just something about the design of the blade that calls to me. It came to me sharp, but after a few passes on a leather strop, it is scary sharp. Rides well in a front jeans pocket and is easy to pull and deploy. The blade flies out with minimal effort on the stud. And it feels really good in the hand, unlike any other folder that I own.

Good job on this one, OKC!

For anyone who is curious, the thickness of the handle is primarily so it can be easily used while wearing gloves. It's also designed with an open back so you can clean it without taking it apart. Both of those features were important to the military units that have been using them. For anyone for whom thickness is a concern, there's also the XM-2, which is the same concept, but thinner.
