I have had this knife for four or so years. I enjoy using it but it hasn't gotten a ton of pocket time. When I bought it autos had just been legalized here and I got an Emerson Vindicator. So, I have been using it recently and discovered that it could use a good sharpening. I am not a professional by any means but I have taken my GB1 from dull to hair-popping, taken my Z-Wear SNG from dull to shaving sharp, and made my Military a lightsaber. Anyhow, this thing has been the biggest bear to sharpen, I swear. I don't think I have ever had this much trouble putting an edge on a knife. I used both angles from the sharpmaker, neither touched the Sharpie on the blade. I finally had to just throw my hands up and free-hand it. I worked up a burr pretty easily, went through my progression, and finally stropped it. It blazes through paper but takes a ton of effort to push-cut cardboard. At work I mostly cut tape and plastic zip-ties. It has been great for those. But this experience has been exhausting.
Sorry guys, I more or less just wanted to rant.
