Got myself an XM-18 gen 3 on e-bay. Overpaid of course, but to me it’s worth it. The only two things I did not particularly appreciate were the clip and the week blade détente. I work in the office and would love to carry Hinderer, but not with the knife showing.
Well, I found a solution to the clip issue – switched with ZT560. My apologies to purists, but the price notwithstanding, I want to EDC the knife I enjoy owning and using.
Incidentally, the XM-18 clip fits the ZT 560. I would carry the ZT outside work, under a concealment shirt, so the knife sticking outside my pocket is not a problem.
