Will the tip of the xm 18 spanto withstand forcible entry to a kwickset lock

I will when I get mine it's gonna be a tool not a safe queen I buy tools to save others not to sit in my safe
That's the thing with emergency responders you use what u have on you wether you damage the tool or not as longs as not to hurt yourself.
Not sure how you could possibly open a lock with a knife, let alone the very thick tip of the Spanto.
As a locksmith, we use more conventional tools like Lock Picks & nice Tension Wrenches. The tip of the Spanto would not work efficiently or safely as a pick or torsion bar. If your thinking about jamming it the door frame like you would a butter knife, that might work if the door wasn't installed correctly.
Best way to be prepared for a non emergency entry is keep a pick set in your wallet & on your keys so if you do not have your main set you have a spare.
