I am the proud owner of a XM-18 spearpoint with the Ben Peterman card. I read somewhere that this is an enhanced version. What exactly are the features that this one has over the others? I have noticed that the detent is alot better (excellent) than my bowie and 3".

Thansks,
Jim

Congrats on the new knife, the spearpoints are a great blade shape. "Enhanced" version? Not sure I have ever seen that description. Recent production of XMs have had a firmer detent, that is about it for differences along with the assembly cards being included during 2015.

Mine was assembled by KJ, and it had an almost finger breaker detent new. It's breaking in smoothly now, but still very snappy. Not sure if enhanced version just means it's been slightly improved. CPM 20CV and a strong detent, both upgrades from previous generations. Enjoy the new knife, use the hell out of it!

Rubi, you should really take it out and use it. I think you'd like it even more!
