So, looking for an XM-18 3.5 Spanto blade in Black scale with the working finish. Anybody know where to find a new one? damn knife is hard to find.
 
Not 100% sure on when it is okay to post a dealer link and I don't want to appear to be a shill or break any rules... I found a spanto 3.5" working finish, but it has a gray (or blue, or translucent, or FDE) scale, though I imagine you can easily find a black one to replace it.

USA Made Blade will always get my #1 recommendation because Whitty is a great dude to deal with, but I don't see any in stock there. Monkey's Edge has some, as does House of Blades--really just go to the Hinderer dealers webpage and just go through them until you find one you like, I found plenty in a brief search.
 
National Knives has a couple Spanto 3.5" Working finish blade and lockside, one with and orange scale and one with a FDE scale, then they carry a black scale for $65. Not the cheapest option but there's no harm in having a different scale around.
 
Yup!! Scott is one of my favorite dealers and he does some bad ass anodizing!!
