Feels like it took forever to track down a textured Ti stonewashed scale after which the blue standoffs were also mildly difficult to wrangle but now its all together and was worth the wait.

Full Ti 24!
Now we're talkin'.
Congratulations on your successful hunting. It takes time and bit if luck, but the payoff is oh so very sweet.
I love the feel of textured Ti in the hand. G10 is a courser material so is more "grippy", but Ti adds a level of unmatched refinement.
Good stuff.

Not with the status quo here, I think the XM is a fantastic looking bit of industrial design and doesn't need these embellishments.

I find them a bit over the top and apply the rule - less is more.

Although I rather like the skull tab filler and at best that is as far as I'd push it.

I would offer that versatility in customization is just one of the strengths of the Hinderer XM design.
In bone stock form it is an iconic design. Each owner can then choose to personalize and individualize their
Particular piece to fit their fancy with a turn of an Armorers Tool (also customizable) as fancy changes, embellishments can be added, removed and handed on to other Hinderer Lovers if the whim moves one to do so.
Amazing design in many ways.

Less may be more but damn I love it Barbarian great looking knife!!! So do you bring it out and just stare at it? I would....thanks for the pictures.

Rubi covered it.
The ability to make your knife "your" knife is a beautiful thing. Eveyone's tastes differ a bit. We can agree on a manufacter of a product, an exact model, an exact size and yet still differ in opinion on what color(s) look best. If everyone agreed all the time the world would be a very boring place.
I like options. In the world of XMs, there is a nice variety of options.

This thing is like my penis when I was 12 years old...I can't stop playing with it! I've had this knife for a little while but I would not use it until I had the bling I was after so now that it is complete it is my new EDC...all others have been put away. I have a full Ti damascus Samaritan that should be finished in the next month or so and when it is these two will be my EDC rotation. I require a couple more XM's, 3 to be exact, XM-18 3" spanto non-flipper, XM-18 3.5" slicer flipper & XM-24 slicer flipper. Then my collection will be complete and in my opinion I will have a knife for all occasions which was my goal. I'm pretty sure I can lead a happy life with XMs, Samaritans and Sebenzas.
