XM-24 in the House!!!

Can't believe it got here so quick, wow...initial impressions

Question though, the titanium is blue. I haven't seen this before. Did a search but didn't turn up anything. Is this similiar to the bronze anodizing?

(I'll post a pic as soon as I figure out how)

Congrats on the 24. I love mine.

Blue anodizing is not uncommon on Hinderers. They offer anodized finishes in blue and bronze. The knives can then be a variety of finish textures. Examples are tumbled or blasted. Look at the picture thread here or on the Hinderer Web site.

I look forward to the pics.

Great! thanks for the info. I don't think the seller knew the difference, wasn't mentioned anyway. The knife is all I thought it would be and more.

I just got my first Hinderer this month and Im with you - even after seeing all the hype its nicer than I expected!

One of these days ill post pictures - I just added the gray frag scale which is sweet!

Rick can anodize ti like nobodies business, I wanted purple on mine and he made it happen.

Ha, thanks for the offer but ill try to suffer through it:). Problem is now i have to get the anodized standoffs, ti scale, etc. Just doesnt stop!
