XM-24 Sterile blade

Is it common for 24's to have sterile blades? Is there any way to tell what blade steel was used? Am about to trade for one, but wasn't sure about the blade not having any markings. Appreciate the help!

Read this. Only the newer XMs have the laser logos. Mine is without laser logos but has s35vn etched into the blade. If you are questioning its authenticity I highly recommend emailing pics to Rob Orlando. Good luck!

It's normal. If it's unmarked then it's Duratech 20cv

XM24's are S35vn except for Gen 1's(D2) and a few in XHP. No XM24's were done in 20cv. If it's unmarked then it's S35vn.

By "sterile" do you mean no horse/USA or no markings of any kind? I have S35VN marked on all my pre-logo 24s.

^ no markings of any kind. Only marking is the "hinderer" on lock side.

Yep, he said its s35 and good to go! Just had never seen one without at least the steel marking. Already got blue standoffs and screws haha made the mistake of selling my 18, no chance I'm letting this one go!
