Hi all,
I’m thinking about picking up a hinderer.
I usually gravitate towards larger folders.
Spyderco military is my go to.
I have a para 2, but after getting used to the millie, it just feels too diminutive.

So, does the xm-18 3.5 feel more substantial than the para2? Or not really?
I’m on the fence between an Xm-24 skinny slicer and an Xm-18 skinny slicer no choil.

Any input is appreciated
Thanks
-Dave

While the XM-18 3.5 skinny slicer no choil(bit of a mouthful) feels more solid than a PM2, their dimensions are pretty similar, at least for my eyes.

Handles are basically just as thick, but the PM2 might be a bit heavier.

Edit: hey D dcycleman , have some awful pictures, free of charge.

I prefer the ergo's of regular thickness XM's, although I've never handled a Skinny24 (I think that might just be awesome since it is the "regular" 3.5" XM width, which rocks).

Thanks for the pics Ryk, that shows what i was after. it looks like you get a solid 1/2 inch more usable blade on the xm18 like unwise pointed out.
Officers Match- yeah I really dont care for overly thick blade stock with crappy geometry, but a 4 inch blade doesnt feel big to me, it just feels normal.

More blade, and a thicker one at that.
