I have decided on XM, I have to have Nascar and will probably change when that moves over to Sirius in 07. That means I am looking a product life of 18 months unless I can transfer service. Come to think of it, is that possible.
Anyway back on track.
As I see it, the Audiovox is a more robust unit and it may be easier to use. It $94 with car kit at Circuit City right now. I have to add a $50 install fee to that price though and I will have to pay an install fee when I get a new vehicle.
The Roady II is the latest and I see where one will be able to use it as a Walkman in the future. Price is $95 at Circuit City now. I am concerned about ease of use and durability. Since it is smaller, I can see it being more difficult to use on the fly. And unless I misunderstand things, the Roady is a free standing unit and no car kit is required. If that is so, I am concerned about a mess of wires on the dash board and the durability mentioned above.
Can someone please enlighten me? Am I missing something? What do you recommend. Thanks.
Randy
