I recently scored this very clean , LNIB slicer in the 20CV. Now, we all know that no Hinderer is "boring", but this one just needed some love to make it "Mine". A quick order, and presto. These pics show the stock black scale and the stock stand offs and screws. They also show the new Battleship Grey scale and the blue Titanium stand offs and titanium screws. The cool thing is: I think the blue screws and stand offs will look great with the black scale. For just a little time and money, I made this one all me, and I can change it around still. Let me know what y'all think. :)

Looks great Vegas!! I do love the sterile look. I keep seeing guys picking these up. I might have to snag one myself...

That's the best thing about XM's dressing them up just the way you like them :)

I have blue hardware/standoffs with textured CF and I think it looks great (Kinda a mix between grey and black). Congrats!

Very very nice Vegas...I need to get my hands on a folding slicer grind, all I have is the fixed XM slicer. love it tho.

I love the scheme you got goin on, reminds me alot of my xm24 non flipper, sandblasted Ti scale, blue standoffs, screws, and pivot screw.

best of luck with it! Im sure you'll find yourself changing it around again in no time lol, thats the beauty of XMs. gotta love it! :D

i just picked up the same knife (except in s35vn) and purchased the blue ti scale screws and standoffs. I was dying to see what it would look like with the grey scale because thats the look im going for as well. so glad i clicked this thread. now time to get me a grey scale and with some luck find me a blue pivot screw to finish it off. thanks for the post

That...looks...awesome. Thanks for this. I have the same XM and was trying to imagine what this upgrade would look like. Sadly, I have zero imagination. Thanks to you, I dont need one! Congrats Sir. You just made Monkey Edge $50!!! Now...can I just borrow your Hinderer tool...?

Thanks everyone for the kind words. Alway nice to hear goo opinions on a personalized project. I would love to find a blue anodized pivot screw. Any ideas??

@Bazooka, I don't have one. I have worked on two Hinderers and have only used my torx set and screwdriver. I have several sized spanners, and haven't had to use them. Just my thumb on the spanner side and a properly fitted fat screwdriver on the other. My Hinderers have been much easier to disassemble than my Strider. No knock on Strider, I dig it, just not as easy as my Hinderer.

Blue and bronze pivots are hard to find, so good luck to you!! many folks are on the lookout curently :)
