I have a 3" blade gen3 XM18 and I need to adjust the pivot. I remember someone saying that there's some sort of bicycle tool that can be used to do it. I don't want to spend more than $30. Does anyone have a link or know of something that can be used as a alternative to the $60 spanners? Thanks.

I just use a penny one one side and the tip of the nail filer on my mini Vic SAK on the other side. It works fine.

I took a penny and put a goof in it using a round file. Worked out pretty good.

I'm going to try that right now and I'll let you all know. Thanks for the responses I appreciate it.

Cool! It worked.

Type in for a search park tool spanner crank tool. I used them in the shop, they have two pins and either look like a tuning fork or a wrench with the spanner on the end. The tuning fork looking ones can be squeezed to fit. Probably what you're looking for.
