I have had a great year, knife wise and in life in general. I just recently won one of the "box of knives" boxes and got an awesome 55 wharcliffe and a buck 119! So to keep the good fortune moving i am doing a long overdue giveaway. you must be a porch regular, no post count limit just someone that spends time here. To enter just post something about yourself, a picture of your pet, a favorite fishing spot etc. There will be four winners drawn and the first gets first pick and so on and so on. You must be of legal age and it is your responsibility to know your local laws. I will let this run till around sunday depending how busy things are. So here are the prizes.
1. A daado small fixed blade with stag and a horizontal leather sheath.

2. A GEC pony jack very light use, carried a few days to work.

3. A western 2 blade small jack. I forget the model #.

4 A case moose in thick stag. Blades were sharpened pretty badly but there is some life left.

Hi my name is Jordan. I have a few favorite fishing spots that vary depending on what I’m targeting. Indian Creek on Douglas Lake if I’m after Crappie, got a spot on the river for Smallmouth.

Just wanted to say, the recent generosity here has caught my attention and rekindled my interest in this subforum. I took a good bit of time off from posting here as higher end/higher dollar stuff took a commanding lead and I like the hunt for vintage or odd stuff more than the collecting.

I've been shown that the generosity and camaraderie is still here even though the topic has changed a bit. 👍 I hope the winners enjoy their new knives and thank you for paying it forward. Merry Christmas 🎄.

Nate, that picture looks like a scene from Donovan’s Reef with John Wayne and Lee Marvin. I have never watched it before last night, which is hard to believe because I love John Wayne movies.

Kevin, great GAW. I’ll stay out of this one, but wanted you to know what a good gesture.
