I posted this elsewhere but not sure what parts of the forum makers read. I wanted to show off some work Paul Long did for me and I just got back. He is consistently top notch and a great guy to deal with. I'll have these at the NECKA hammerin if people want a closer look at how he has everything put together. He even set me the design schematics!

Off to maryland for the weekend! Have a great weekend, guys!

The sheaths look really gorgeous!

I can't get over the hamons you produce... you generally use 1095 and satanite, right?

You need to do a step-by-step photo tutorial of how you heat treat these beasts!

Love the lines on that big one... can't wait to see it at IG's!

Maryland? What brings you to my neck of the woods? Is there something going on here I've missed?

Gorgeous knives as always, and that leather is top notch too!

Beautiful knives, beautiful sheaths.

I, too, admire your hamons, and would love to see a step-by-step photo tutorial.

they make me want to touch my unmentionables with awe! absolutely awesome!:jerkit:

Thanks guys!

Yeah I used satinite on this one. I had a post where I went through the whole process with pics a while back. I can find it a little later today. I don't think I'm at all any kind of expert on hamons at all. I have done a few since this one, but not a million. I'd be happy to post a series the next one I do. My oven gets here next week and I'll be doing a batch of clay hardened ones at that time. Mr Purple, if you want, I can show you what I do at the Hammerin.
