I am stoked but I don't get it? The other post said that the people who ordered the NICK would be able to buy a matching number of XXX NICK knives. The only problem is when the NICK was offered we were told we would be told who made the cut and who didn't, and due to potential limited numbers that some would make it and some would not. Without knowing who made the NICK cut, how do we know what our NICK limit or cost would be? OR will the XXX NICK offer tell us who has orders "pending" on NICKS and what their limit would be? Inquiring INFI HOGS need to know:confused:
 
My wife says that the NICK limit is one. One NICK is enough for anybody. ;) :p :D

All I thought I was asking is - How do we know if we made the original "NICK list"? so we know will what our XXX Nick cost and limit are?

or Simply -Damn it I want BOTH!:D
 
I am confused on the offer also. I took Jerry's original post on the XXX NICK to mean that everyone who ordered the original NICK would automatically get the opportunity to order the XXX NICK. This post reads like the XXX NICK is a separate offer altogether. I believe that someone else also mentioned serial numbers-will they be matching numbers or will the XXX NICK be assigned in the order that orders are received on Wednesday night? Jerry, could you clarify please?
 
heres what it looks like to me....


the people who ordered the original thin nicks have been put on a chronological list. they will be contacted for their billing info, and the serial numbers will be given out on the first come first serve basis according to when their emails came in.

the thick nick offer is totaly seperate - however, people with orders in for the original thin nick will get preference.

person a orders 3 xxxl's, but had no orders for the originals
person b orders 1 xxxl, but had no orders for the original
persons c-z order 100 thick nicks combined, each person having ordered at least 1 original nick, and having met that order with the same number of xxxl's (bought 2 thins, got 2 xxxl's)

person c will get serial number 1-4 (say they bought 4 thins and 4 xxxl's)

person a will get serial number 101, as he did not order any thins, and do not get preference in the serial number list.


if the list of people who originally ordered thin nicks buys up the full 108 xxxl's available, even though there may be 56 of them ordered from people who dont have thin orders in first, no one who ordered xxxl's without an order for thins will get 1, as they do not get preference.




or so it seems to me :)

even though im (hopefully) going to get #1 in the thin line, if i put in an order for an xxxl, but did it 10 minutes after it was offered, i may only get serial number 98 of the xxxl's

(im afraid that im going to cancel my order for number 2... and not going to go for a thick... im broke, and i dont eat meat, so a cleaver, even if it is infi, just wouldnt get properly used...)

post edit - as to your limit, and how much it will cost, i assume that your limit has already been determined in regards to the first run (their may not be another). so id say put in your order as quickly as possible and hope for the best. as far as the price - again, i assume it will be around 350
 
man... how cool would it be to have +1-2 thin and +1-2 thick though.... :( stupid christmas presents for other people.... :rolleyes:
 
Seth, you are thinking too much man. Bottom line is, get your mouse clicking finger warmed up and be the fastest bastid on the forum or you're likely to miss out.
 
the less finances i have the more im forced to think :)

but if i did have money - none of you would stand a chance at getting #1 :D:cool:
